The Gladstone Engineering Alliance Inc. (GEA) is the peak representative body for leading the development of a world recognised competitive engineering and engineering support services sector within the Central Queensland Region.
Established in 2003, the GEA provides representation and advocacy for engineering manufacturers, service suppliers and their suppliers and seeks to further develop industry support capabilities throughout the Central Queensland Region.
The recent procurement of Queensland Government funding by the GEA will see the development of a Manufacturing and Engineering (Gladstone Region) Skills Formation Strategy.
The GEA has progressed plans to develop and expand the capabilities of the organisation with the appointment of three key staff members in February 2009.
The GEA now looks forward to not only strengthening our existing relationships, but increasing our organisational capability, allowing us to more effectively service both existing and future major industry.
The GEA is the leading advocate to promote and support engineering enterprises throughout Central Queensland to foster important and effective relationships which will secure growth, prosperity and stability throughout 2009 and beyond.
