Tender Readiness Program (TRP)

Are you tender ready?

                        Tender Readiness Program (TRP)

The GEA is in the process of developing a ‘Tender Readiness Program’ for the Gladstone Region utilising industry experts.  The program is to help build awareness and capability, identify gaps, and develop solutions for businesses wanting to position themselves as best as possible to take advantage of local opportunities; providing a depth of information and support to suppliers over an extended period as a repeatable model which will result in work won and reduction of leakage from the region.

The program will also encourage transition from construction to operational and maintenance phases. It will be inclusive of those industries and major organisations that express interest.

Opportunities within the program include:

· Information briefs and Interactive Workshops, providing realistic information on opportunities for construction, maintenance of services to major projects, focusing on the CSG/LNG industry in particular
· A matrix documenting the process for Tender Readiness at tiers 1, 2 and 3 which will build both awareness and capability; assisting participating companies to identify knowledge and capability gaps, empowering them to develop and implement solutions
· Best practice review with business and industry; strengthening major industry in the region through heightened supplier capability
· Raising the capability of local and regional supply chains to enable future transition to global supply chain
· Strategic networking opportunities.

The project will target business looking to provide products and services to both existing and proposed major industry in the Gladstone Region.
