Central Queensland has opportunity to grow business

Central Queensland small to medium businesses have an opportunity to join a free program funded by the Australian Government which will help strengthen operations and capabilities to enhance competitiveness.
In an increasingly dynamic business environment, new skills, technologies and business strategies are required to compete locally, in the Australian market globally.
The Australian Industry Productivity Centres Program is an exciting initiative that will assist SMEs within the manufacturing and service sectors enhance their local and international competitiveness.
By signing up with the Productivity Centres Program Central Queensland SMEs will receive a free Business Review that will assess their performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Working with an industry expert, businesses will have the knowledge to upgrade their capabilities or find solutions to technical or process issues.
Local Central Queensland Business Adviser Warren Hale said,” This is an extremely exciting opportunity for Central Queensland businesses and I would encourage all eligible businesses to find out more information.” “Local businesses are operating in a rapidly changing environment and the competition for Central Queensland business is enormous.”
“By participating in a Business Review businesses will be able to identify areas of their operations that can be improved and as a result become more competitive in the marketplace, leading to new business prospects both in Australia and internationally.”
All participating SMEs will be provided with a final report at the end of the Business Review which will include a list of recommendations for moving forward. Each SME may then be eligible for a matched grant of up to $20,000 to undertake improvements, or introduce new technologies and processes.
