Gladstone employers occupational licensing seminar

11th February, 2008

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) invites attendance at a licensing seminar to gain tips on how to ensure your workplace passes WHSQ inspection in 2008. The Gladstone seminar will be held Gladstone, 3 March 2008, 2:30pm – 4:00pm and forms part of a state-wide education program following recent changes to training and assessment requirements for people wishing to obtain licences to operate and use particular plant and equipment.

Targeted inspections will take place in 2008 to check workplace compliance and ensure licence holders continue to hold the necessary competency to carry out work safely. The inspections will also ensure that employers are not encouraging workers to carry out work unsafely.
